Outcome Clarity Tool
Most programs describe what they do. This tool helps you describe what changes because of the work, checks whether your activities connect to that change, and flags where the logic breaks down.
What this tool does and doesn't do: This tool produces a draft outcome model based on what you provide. It's a starting point for program design and proposal planning, not a verified evaluation framework. Review everything before using it in a formal context.
Required fields
Be specific. Vague needs produce vague outcomes. The more concrete you are here, the more useful the model will be.
Who does this problem affect? Include age range, location, or other defining characteristics if relevant.
What area of life or community do you want to improve? This helps anchor the outcome.
Optional fields
Where does this work happen? Optional but useful for local funder alignment.
If you have existing activities, include them. The tool will check whether they connect to the outcomes, not just replace them.
Funding context, program history, constraints, or anything else that would help build a more accurate model.
